Students in Ms. Iannece and Mr. Peo’s class learned about the Lunar New Year. With help from our school librarian, Ms. King, the students watched a video that discussed the various ways people celebrate the lunar new year. We learned about the culture, the celebrations, the parades, and traditions of the Lunar New Year. We do not have school this Monday, February 8th, in observance of the Lunar New Year Holiday.

Students will be going on a field trip to the NY Museum of Natural History on 12/16/2015. Permission Slips and field trip money ($7) is due to your childs teacher ASAP. Please contact the teacher if you have any questions.
Students are reminded that they MUST be wearing their uniform to school every day. Students without uniforms will be sent to the office to get uniform clothes.
As we continue our math units, we’ve noticed students continue to struggle with their multiplication tables. It is important students be practicing their facts DAILY. Even though students are currently in a division unit, they still need to understand their facts. Please practice these facts with your child!
