Social-Emotional Learning

Brain Power focuses on emotional wellness and allows students to have an open discussion on emotional regulation, anxiety, and stress. Teachers use brainpower activities to provide easy transitions for students throughout the day. Students are encouraged to lead the activities in class. All staff members are receiving brain power professional development either through virtual sessions or in person.

If you want more information or would like to implement some of these activities at home click on the section “Brain Power in Action” there are video examples of the brainpower activities being implemented citywide. P.S. 204 will continue to safeguard the social-emotional needs of our students.
